When the sun is at its height, you can take a break from the beach and explore a water park with the kids.
All the Algarve beaches have lifeguards, and green, yellow and red flags to inform beach babes of the swimming conditions. You’ll also see the blue flag, which indicates excellent water quality.
For thrill seekers you can charter a yacht, go on a boat trip, watch dolphins, scuba dive, hire jet skis, go paragliding, surfing, body boarding. Infact you name the water sport and you can do it here, hire the equipment, as well as expert tuition. And if that’s not enough of a thrill there are even some naturist beaches along the Algarve coastline!
